Hunting with Golden Eagle in Winter | Eagle Falconry Experience Mongolia

Day 1. Arrive in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia.

Arrival in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. Meet your local guide and driver at Chinggis Khaan International airport and then transfer to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, we can take a short city tour. Stay in hotel. /L, D/

Day 2. Take domestic flights to Ulgii town and transfer to Sagsai village.

Start our adventure today and take flight to the Ulgii town, the center of westernmost province of Mongolia. Depending on the flight schedule, we go for a short sightseeing tour in the town, including the local museum. After having lunch drive to sagsai village, where most eagle hunters live. Arrive at host family in the late afternoon. /B, L, D/

Day 3-5. Eagle Falconry experiences

Learning the centuries old traditions of eagle falconry and practicing it by yourself. Immersing yourself into the beauty of wild nature in the remote Altai mountains of Mongolia and feel the real winter atmosphere that will amaze you. Staying with the local family to experience nomadic culture and daily life of Kazakh nomads who are considered as one of the most hospitable people on earth. If we are on the trip in February, we can experience the spring migration of Kazakh nomads. All of these can be your life-time adventure and will give you unforgettable beautiful memory. /B, L, D/

Day 6. Transfer back to Ulgii town. 

Drive back to Ulgii town. Stay and relax in the local hotel. /B, L, D/

Day 7. Flight back to Ulaanbaatar.

After having breakfast at the local hotel take flight to Ulaanbaatar. Transfer to the hotel. /B, L, D/

Day 8. Departure.  

Transfer to airport for the departure. /B/
