The rufous-tailed rock thrush (Monticola saxatilis) is a strongly migratory bird belonging to the family Muscicapidae. It breeds in southern Europe across central Asia to northern China.

Habitat: Breeds on rocky mountain slopes and alpine meadows, usually above 1,500 m.
